Great support for the ankle and for being on his feet all day long. Size 16 shoes were hard to find for him.

I have been looking for an all-purpose medium weight boot, wearable in the summer. This one nicely fits the bill. I also have a need for ample toe room and this shoe is perfect.

I love them. I suffer from diabetes, nerve pain, and swelling. These are the perfect boots. They're lite and comfortable. I will be ordering at least 2 more pairs.

My Grandson is starting a new Job as a correction officer. He as pass all of his tests and is waiting orders to go to the Academy. I bought those shoes as a surprise for him and YES he was very surprised to received them. He said to me he will be saving these shoes until he gets his full uniform so he can look nice inn his new shoes.

These are the only boots that my 7'3" husband finds comfortable to work in. He is on his feet a lot and these really help with his back pain without needing inserts. They fit well and he loves them. I love the new light brown color because they can be used for work or dressed up for a lunch date.

I have ordered many shoes from Big Shoes and have always been satisfied until this past year. My son wears a size 15 so it was wonderful that I could now find a variety of shoes for himl Howeve, the last pair I bought for him (Newton Ridge Plus !! only lasted 3 months. The soles ripped away from the shoe. Now in all fairness, he owns a garage and maybe they weren't the right kind to be worn in that invironment. However, I had bought him another pair for Christmas unknowing that his last ones were not satisfactory. When I called about returning them, there was no problem. Company was very accomodating.

Purchase these as a work boot and was quite surprised to find out how comfortable and lite they are. They are a good fit and my feet do not hurt when I get off work. Thinking about getting another pair in the very near future.

I finally found a place to get a comfortable shoe in my size. Great ankle support and light for a boot. Quality footwear and the payment plan is excellent.

Sturdy and well made, cannot wait to wear them in the snow. Here in Washington state. Definitely a great buy and true to size.

Lite weight is a plus because i'm an old geezer with bad feet. The lacing system and hooks at the top make getting into the boots easy, plus the pull tabs at the back also help. That they are also manufactured under the Columbia trademark is another plus. I was impressed with the easy break in, with no large bumps or lumps in the internal sole. They claim to waterproof, but I'll stay away from any large amounts that will overtop the boots. I have been wearing them for over a week and I like them

I have just used my boots for 7 monts and the pattern is almost worn out for most part of the underside and the "waterproofness" lasted only for a couple of months. I have never bought a pair of boots with such high levels of fatigue before, and that just after approx. 7 months. Bit of a shame for it is a great boot really....

This is a very comfortable and lightweight boot. Really fits like a speaker. Awesome!

Fit perfect right out the box no brake in needed. I am home stead in the woods and have 5 miles of trails , a few streams , ice and snow, sand and mud, nothing bothers them, they clean good and I love them.

The Columbia Newton Ridge Plus ll are some comfortable boots,I love the style of the boots & the color. I wear my boots for stylish looks,but I bought the boots for work. I am well pleased with the boots.

I wear a size 15 wide and the boot appears true to size. Rubbing on small toes a bit. Will require some break in.

The hill runs out way too fast. Otherwise the very comfortable but won't last long especially if you wear out the outer edges of shoes. I think I got two and a half 3 months out of them.

I bought these shoes for my 16-year old son. They fit perfect, he liked them instantly. They are comfortable and will be a perfect winter shoe for school. He tested the waterproofing by holding the shoe over the sink, and letting the water run over the toe area. It stayed dry on the inside and outside, the water just ran off. Delivery was also very prompt.

Ordered size 16 since I wear leather 16 / gym 17. probably should have ordered 17. Going to exchange for different shoe.

If you had the original Newton Ridge Plus', and were looking to buy these as a replacement, the heel on these is like 75% the width of the originals and they're much tighter right out the box

I am a parent of a 17 year old that wears a size 17 shoe. My son really enjoys the style and the feel of these boots. My son also thought that he would have to use all of his money to purchase a decent pair of boots for the winter until he seen these boots on your website. I thank you for selling sneakers and shoes that are teenager appropriate.

very waterproof. would have liked them to last a little longer. had them less than a year and ran the bottoms off them.

The best thing with these shoes are that they are very light weight. Looks good. And water proof.

Son is very happy with the boots. It's great to be able to get him shoes when he need them without a hassle.
