Product Details
- This golf spikes kit is suitable for sneakers with flat rubber soles and a minimum thickness of 1/3 inch, ensuring a secure and effective fit. The self-tapping golf spikes provide excellent grip on the golf course and stable, green-friendly traction.
-
The GENERAL RULE is flat rubber (not foam) soles. So Basketball, tennis/court shoes tend to have flat soles and good structure for comfort.
- Skate shoes look cool but tend to have thin soles.
- Running shoes/hokas can be hard to find FLAT spots for the cleats you need a flat spot about the size of a nickel to mount a single Golfkicks cleat.
- The more comfy a shoe is before the spikes go in the more comfortable they’ll be on the golf course. For example if you screw them into Vans, Dunks, Chuck Taylors they have a very thin sole and you might not want to walk 18 holes in them.
We have seen it all - cowboy boots, sandals, adding to existing spike-less golf shoes but some of these require ADVANCED installs so it depends on the customer and their confidence in doing this.

Shoe Guidance
- Soles need to be 1/3 inch thick and have FLAT RUBBER (NOT FOAM) on the bottom.
- Mount Golfkicks on a FLAT area of your shoe so that the disc part of the cleat has FULL CONTACT with your sole for support. Do not hang off raised traction. Do not install a cleat way up on your toe this is not necessary.
- ALL SHOES ARE DIFFERENT, the thinner the sole the more you will feel traction underfoot.
- If you have a lot of traction on the sole you don't need Golfkicks.
